If only all software conversions/integrations were this quick and easy: Just before I left to catch my plane to Memphis, Guy, from the Arena team, connected remotely to walk me through install of the Arena beta on our system and connect it to our existing ShelbyV5 database.  In just about two hours we had a working Arena ChMS system along with all the member data from our old system.

 Attachment: arena_searchresults_med.gif (72651 bytes) A quick search using my last name confirms our expectations -- my family members are listed in the search results.  Keep in mind that I see all that functionality in the side bar because I'm the Arena Admin and also note that the image that shows up in the hover-over feature was added to my member record after I did the install.

Now I'm in Tennessee I can't wait until I get back to the office to show some of the key staff involved with the rollout how easy the system is to use.

I really think they'll love how fast and easy it is to create a new report using the report wizard.  After clicking the "add new report button" you choose your selection criteria:

Select the fields you want in the report:

Rename column headings on the report if you like... or just click next :)

If you're a SQL junkie you can peek at the underlying SQL query... everyone else just click the finish button:
