Registration is now open for the next Arena Developer Roundtable taking place in sunny AZ this October 16th and 17th.  This time the roundtable is also open for prospective Arena Community Developers to participate and understand the benefits of joining the community.

What happens at the roundtable?  Well, based on the last one, we discuss things like:

  • What needs to be changed to allow custom modules greater integration with Arena internals?
  • What needs to be documented to allow other Community Developers to ramp up, and who is assigned to each task.
  • Where is Arena ChMS going and what is its over all goal?
  • What core features or architecture changes are coming?
  • What might make Arena an even better ChMS platform?

Last time we also spent a little time showcasing other church's custom modules as well as planning/coordinating the development of custom modules.

If you're developing ChMS modules for some other platform (such as DotNetNuke) you should really consider using a platform that is more closely aligned to the Church arena.
